Uncle Bobbie's Bookstore A Haven For Black Intellectual Consciousness

In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr., I think it's fitting to celebrate Marc Lamont Hill; Temple University Professor, Activist, CNN Commentator, and founder of Uncle Bobbie's Bookstore which opened in the Germantown area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a few months ago. I have been to the bookstore quite a few times, and I must say it is absolutely wonderful. The variety of books, food, pastries and coffee are simply a delight. This place is always packed and for good reason! You are bound to meet someone intellectually stimulating or at least, socially conscious or both.
Why stay home when you can be inspired in a living room style environment by some of your favorite books, good conversation, food and a chance to interact with the founder, Marc Lamont, who is there pretty much everyday?
